UF Academic Calendar 2024-2025: Important Dates.

The UF Academic Calendar 2024-2025 contains the dates, deadlines, or schedule of academic activities and UF holiday schedule for the 2024-2025 academic year.

I have separated it into the fall semester, spring semester, and summer semester with their important dates and deadlines.

UF academic calendar fall 2024

UF Fall semester starts from August 22, 2024 to December 13, 2024. Below are other important dates and deadlines on the UF Fall 2024 calendar.

According to UF academic calendar 2024-2025;

Advance Registration for Fall 2024 runs from March 18, 2024, to August 20, 2024.
Regular Registration takes place on August 21, 2024. After the 11:59 pm deadline, a $100 late fee will be applied.
UF Fall 2024 classes start on August 22, 2024. It is the first day of classes for Fall 2024 in the 2024-2025 academic year.
UF (EEP) and State Employee Registration is from August 22 to August 23 and August 26 to August 28, 2024.
Drop/Add and Late Registration also occur on August 22 to August 23 and August 26 to August 28, 2024.
Non-Degree Registration is scheduled for August 26, 2024, to August 28, 2024.
August 28, 2024, is the deadline for Withdrawal from All Fall Courses with No Fee Liability.
The Labor Day holiday is on September 2, 2024, and no classes exist.
Residency Reclassifications are due on September 6, 2024, according to UF academic calendar 2024-2025.
Fee Payments through the University Bursar are also due on September 6, 2024, at 3:30 pm.
The S/U Grade Option and Degree Applications deadline is September 13, 2024.
September 13, 2024, is the deadline for Withdrawal with a 25% Refund, with a “W” assigned to all Fall courses.
UF Homecoming 2024 is from October 18, 2024, to October 19, 2024. There are no classes.
Veterans Day is on November 11, 2024. There are no classes.
November 22, 2024, marks the Drop Deadline, with a “W” assigned to the individual course(s), and also the Withdrawal Deadline, with a “W” assigned to all Fall courses.
From November 23, 2024, to December 4, 2024, students can Drop or Add a Course after the Drop Deadline, but they must petition their college with appropriate documentation for approval.
Students can withdraw from all fall courses from November 23, 2024, to December 4, 2024, after the Withdrawal Deadline, but they must petition their college with appropriate documentation for approval.
UF Thanksgiving Break 2024 is from November 25 to November 30, 2024.
The Faculty Course Evaluation Period is scheduled from November 26, 2024, to December 6, 2024, with dates varying by course.
Fall 2024 Classes End on December 4, 2024, followed by Reading Days (no classes) on December 5, 2024, to December 6, 2024.
Fall 2024 Final Exams occur from December 7 to December 13, 2024.
UF Graduation 2024 and Commencement ceremonies are scheduled for December 13 and December 14, 2024, with specific dates and times varying for graduate and professional school commencements.
UF winter break 2024 is from December 14, 2024, to January 12, 2025.
Degree Status becomes available on ONE. UF on December 18, 2024. Final Grades are available for viewing on the transcript on ONE.UF on December 18.
Faculty Course Evaluations become available to instructors on GatorEvals on December 19, 2024.

UF Spring 2025 semester begins on January 13, 2025. Find out other important dates and deadlines on the UF academic calendar for spring 2025.

Advance Registration for Spring 2025 runs from October 28, 2024, to January 9, 2025.
Regular Registration takes place on January 10, 2025, and a $100 late fee applies after the 11:59 pm deadline.
UF Spring 2025 classes start on January 13, 2025.
